About Mychal A. Bryan

Mychal A. Bryan is a Bahamian-Jamaican Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher whose work blends disciplined alignment, spiritual depth, and a high-performance understanding of the human body. Trained extensively by Dr. Lois Steinberg—one of the world’s leading Iyengar Yoga authorities—he brings mastery in all aspects of teaching and practice, including B.K.S. Iyengar’s signature system of medical yoga therapy.

With over 15 years of experience, Mychal helps students build strong, intelligent practices that support long-term vitality, clarity, and resilience. His anatomical insight is deepened through ongoing mentorship in human cadaveric dissection, allowing him to guide practitioners with exceptional precision and safety.

Before dedicating himself fully to yoga, he trained in Havana, Cuba as a professional dancer. He now teaches at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Jo-Mé Dance Academy, infusing his classes with refined movement principles and embodied artistry.

Alongside his yoga work, Mychal is the founder of the Oraculos School of Astrology and the author of three acclaimed books, supported by additional training in Ayurveda, Jikiden Reiki, and hypnotherapy. He has taught internationally throughout the Caribbean, North America, and Europe, always offering a grounded, warm, and transformative approach.
